The windows of Libreria Berisio shows their hand from the street. The plethora of used books of all kinds provoke you to push the door open. There, the magic begins immediately.
Weathered and warm, the interior exudes tranquillity with its worn and welcoming armchairs and bar behind, which proudly places wines whose names alone invite you on a wine trip (with moderation), nonetheless literary (without limitation). Aglianico, Cannonau, Montepulciano, Negroamaro…
The journey will take place between Sicily, Apulia and Tuscany, at the discretion of the wine authors' pages, or elsewhere.
Here, nothing is free but everything is reasonable: books are not to browse but to buy at a low price; the wine, served by the glass or bottle, is sold at a reasonable price. Now you're ready to begin the evening with Italo Calvino, with the sound of good jazz or live music on the weekends, a perfect location to take a break from the city's frenzy for a moment.
